Every Wednesday at 14651 U.S. Hwy 441, cars start filling the lot beside a drive-in ice cream window around mid-afternoon. Some are classics with the hoods open. Some are new models parked right next to them. By the end of the evening, the Asphalt Misfits have chosen one as their "Cruiser of the Week."
That weekly meet at Sunset Delights Ice Cream & Eats is in its third season, and 352today reported that the 2026 season runs through Nov. 25. After that date the cars keep showing up along US 441. The meets move to Saturdays, split between early mornings in Summerfield and evenings in Belleview, and the holiday shows ask you to bring a toy or a can of food.
The Wednesday Clock at 14651 US 441
The Asphalt Misfits host the cruise-in every Wednesday in the lot at Sunset Delights. Any style of car is welcome. Owners show off engines and interiors, and anyone can walk over to look.
There are two published start times. 352today's August coverage lists 3:30 to 7 p.m. The event calendar at Ocala Street Cruisers lists the same meet from 4 to 7 p.m., open to all makes and models. If you get there by 4, you're covered under either schedule.
The season ends on Nov. 25. That's a Wednesday, and Thanksgiving falls the next day, so the last cruise-in of 2026 lands on the night before the holiday. One third-party car-show calendar lists Sunset Delights Wednesdays into December and January, but the club itself hasn't announced an extended season. Nov. 25 is the date the club's season was reported to end. For any December news, check the Asphalt Misfits group on Facebook.
What the Window Serves While the Hoods Are Up
A cruise-in at a drive-in comes with dinner. 352today's 352Eats profile from September covered the menu and its prices.
| On the menu | Price, as of September 2026 |
|---|---|
| Kid's scoop, cake cone | $2.79 |
| Single scoop, cake cone | $3.59 |
| Double scoop, cake cone | $4.59 |
| Waffle cone, sugar cone or cup | $0.75 upcharge |
| Wings | $7.99 |
| Chicken fingers or fish | $6.19 |
| Chicken nuggets, shrimp or cheese sticks | $5.69 |
The ice cream comes in more than 20 flavors, including sugar-free options. There are banana splits, malts, floats, ice cream sodas and slushies. Sandwiches include Philly cheesesteaks, burgers, Italian sausage and BLTs, with sides like onion rings, potato wedges and nachos.
The kitchen's hours explain how the evening ends. Sunset Delights is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the cruise-in wraps up at 7. That leaves an hour to order after the last cars pull out. The restaurant also stays open after Nov. 25, so the shakes are still there on a Wednesday in December even if the cars aren't.
The Corridor Moves to Saturdays
Once Wednesdays end, the next meets are a few miles up and down the same highway. Here is the calendar from early November through the first weekend of December, pulled from club and event listings:
| Date | Meet | Where | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sat., Nov. 7 | Twilight Cruisers first-Saturday cruise-in | Kent Furniture shopping center, US 441, Belleview, behind Regions Bank | 5 to 8 p.m. |
| Sat., Nov. 14 | Second-Saturday Cars and Coffee | Cuban cafeteria at 13675 US 441/27, Summerfield | 8 to 11 a.m. |
| Sat., Nov. 21 | Belleview show on the Scroggs Hot Rods listing | 9732 SE Hwy 441, Belleview | Starts 9 a.m. |
| Wed., Nov. 25 | Final Sunset Delights cruise-in of the 2026 season | 14651 US Hwy 441, Summerfield | Afternoon to 7 p.m. |
| Sat., Dec. 5 | Twilight Cruisers' 26th annual Toys for Kids show | Don Garlits Drag Racing Museum | See club listing |
The two monthly meets run at nearly opposite hours. The Summerfield Cars and Coffee is an 8 a.m. start on the second Saturday. Ocala Street Cruisers lists it as running until 11 a.m. The Belleview meet hosted by Twilight Cruisers starts at 5 p.m. on the first Saturday and runs until 8. If you've been going on Wednesday afternoons, you can pick a morning or an evening meet in December, and both are about the same distance from home.
The coffee meet goes by two names. Ocala Street Cruisers calls it the Cars and Coffee Cruise-In at Villa Pinar Cuban Cafeteria. A national car-show calendar lists the Nov. 14 date as the Havana Cuban Cafeteria Monthly Cars and Cuban Coffee Cruise-In. Both listings describe a monthly Cuban coffee and car meet in Summerfield, and Ocala Street Cruisers gives the address as 13675 US 441/27.
Twilight Cruisers describes itself as a not-for-profit club formed "to promote and protect the classic autos of yesterday," and its first-Saturday cruise-in is free. Ocala Street Cruisers says the Kent Furniture Plaza nights include music, drawings and a 50/50.
The Holiday Shows Ask for Toys and Cans
The cold-weather meets on this stretch of 441 also collect donations, which the Wednesday cruise-in doesn't do.
Twilight Cruisers asks people coming to its first-Saturday cruise-in to bring canned goods for Interfaith. The Nov. 21 show at 9732 SE Hwy 441 in Belleview asks for a toy at registration. On Dec. 5, Twilight Cruisers holds its 26th annual Toys for Kids show at the Don Garlits Drag Racing Museum. That toy show has been running for 26 years, and the Wednesday cruise-in at Sunset Delights is in its third season.
From mid-November through the first Saturday in December, the bigger car shows near Summerfield work as toy and food drives too. If you're bringing a car, or just coming to look, pack an unwrapped toy or a few cans the way you'd pack a folding chair.
It also helps to know which meets stop for the season. The Villages Classic Automobile Club says its Market of Marion show doesn't run in November or December. Some calendar sites still list dates for those months, so go by the club's own schedule.
Before You Head Over
- Wednesdays through Nov. 25: Get to Sunset Delights by 4 p.m. to be safe with either listed start time, and stay for food until the window closes at 8.
- December Wednesdays: Check the Asphalt Misfits group before you go. The reported season ends Nov. 25, and the club hasn't announced December dates.
- Second Saturday, 8 a.m.: Head to 13675 US 441/27 in Summerfield, the address Ocala Street Cruisers lists for the Cars and Coffee meet.
- First Saturday, 5 p.m.: Park at the Kent Furniture shopping center in Belleview behind Regions Bank, and bring canned goods for Interfaith.
- Nov. 21 and Dec. 5: Bring a toy. The Belleview show on Nov. 21 asks for one at registration, and the Dec. 5 show is a toy drive.
Dates and times come from club pages and event calendars that can change on short notice. If you're driving over from across town, check with the host club the week of the meet.
If you see us in line at the Sunset Delights window before Nov. 25, or with a toy in hand at a December show, come say hello. When you're ready to talk about your next move in Summerfield, The Table Team would be glad to schedule a consultation.
